This page explains, in plain language, how to cancel your WheelPlanner subscription, when cancellation takes effect, and how refunds work. It is a summary written for convenience. Where it differs from our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service govern.
What this policy covers
This policy is about the subscription your driving school pays WheelPlanner for. It is the agreement between your school and WheelPlanner.
It is not your students' cancellation policy. The rules for when a student may cancel or reschedule a lesson, and whether a late-cancellation or no-show fee applies, are set by each school in its own settings. Those rules are between the school and its students. If you are a parent or student looking for that policy, contact your driving school directly - not WheelPlanner.
Canceling your subscription
You may cancel at any time. There are two ways:
- From your account settings, in the billing section; or
- By emailing support@wheelplanner.com. An emailed cancellation request takes effect on the date we receive it.
When cancellation takes effect. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then - canceling does not cut off your account mid-month, so you can finish the lessons already on your calendar.
Refunds
We do not issue refunds for partial months. Because cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, you receive the remainder of that period rather than a partial-month refund.
If you believe you have been charged in error - for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after a cancellation we received - email support@wheelplanner.com with the date and amount. We will review the charge and respond.
Free trials
If a free trial was offered when you signed up, the length and conditions of that trial are shown during account creation and govern. A payment method is collected when you start the trial, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you do not cancel, the subscription converts to paid automatically when the trial ends, as described in Section 4 of the Terms of Service.
If a payment fails
We retry a failed payment up to two times and email you each time. If payment is still not received within 7 days of the final retry notice, the account may be suspended. You remain responsible for fees that accrued before suspension. Paying the outstanding balance restores access.
Price changes
We will give you written notice by email between 7 and 30 days before a subscription price change takes effect. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect. Continuing to use WheelPlanner after the effective date means you accept the new price.
Your data when you cancel
Export your data before you close your account. You can download a full export of your school's data - students, lessons, packages, and hours - from your account settings at any time while your account is open.
After your subscription ends, your data is not deleted automatically: it stays stored, and you can still view and export it. From 7 days after the subscription ends, your account may become read-only, which stops new lessons, new instructors, and new online package purchases by parents. WheelPlanner does not currently delete a closed school's data on a set schedule. To ask about deleting your data, email support@wheelplanner.com.
Ending the agreement
Either you or WheelPlanner may end the agreement by giving 30 days' written notice - an email to support@wheelplanner.com, or from us to your account email address, is sufficient. We may end it immediately if you materially breach the Terms, fail to pay after notice, or act in a way that harms the service or other users.
